SilkSong Leak Metadata Breakdown

On December 13, 2023, the Hollow Knight Archive shared a trailer. On Discord, TheShawarma examined the SilkSong press kit metadata and found file names related to the trailer videos.

KINGDOM

In this cool scene, Hornet bravely goes through a tough place under the Skull King, maybe facing a strong Bone King boss. It suggests a story where surviving means exploring the king’s world, maybe collecting valuable stuff to make weapons better and get new powers

Greymoor Crow Walk

Greymoor Crow Walk strongly suggests the likelihood of engaging in online matches within this specific area, offering opportunities to progress through ranks and upgrade various aspects of gameplay

Coral Gorge Fishies

The phrase ‘Coral Gorge Fishies’ hints at something special in the game, like an item, place, or activity. I think players might have to explore the Coral Gorge Fishies area to find specific items, and maybe they’ll unlock a water-related skill, like swimming

City of Ascent

I’m thinking that the City of Ascent might act as a central hub, a place where we send someone on quests. It could be possible that in this city, players gain a climbing ability, making the overall gameplay more exciting

Big Skull Goomba

I think this area might be all about intense combat, like a hack-and-slash zone. Players could unlock a cool dash move and pull off dynamic action combos. The term ‘bigskullgoomba’ hints at tough enemies, maybe bosses with lava themes called Goomba or even larger ones with skull designs

Cogworks

I think this place could be the Clockwork Library. Here, players might get a sharp rope harpoon and a dash move, kind of like in Sekiro. The word ‘cogworks’ hints at complex machines in the library, making the whole theme more interesting

Boss

perhaps this Roof Crab Boss appears simplistic at first glance, but it introduces a fresh challenge with unique powers and abilities. It’s a novel addition to the game, promising a different and engaging boss encounter

Wind Mill Interior

Even though it seems simple, having farmers in this village suggests a more interesting story. The village looks cursed, making the little farmers act crazy, which adds a cool twist to the tale. Talking about the ‘Wind Mill Interior’ hints that it’s not just a place but an important spot in the game world

Cogworker

This appears to be a cogworker zone, with Hornet assigned the task of repairing or adjusting a needle-like structure. This endeavor leads to the acquisition of a harpoon rope weapon, where the clock needle serves as the harpoon. Progressing further in the game holds the promise of an upgrade that could unlock airborne maneuvers, reminiscent of the mechanics seen in Sekiro

this could potentially serve as a powerful attack, perhaps even an Easter egg or secret move capable of dispatching a group of enemies with a single strike

in this scene, Hornet is portrayed as a bone hunter, suggesting a role assigned by someone possibly through a contract or bounty. The significance lies in the location, known as Bone Hunter Bridge, where Hornet is tasked with confronting and eliminating a formidable hunter, adding a layer of intensity to the narrative

this is very funny i think we chase creeper enemy in catacomb or this is hidden secret i think this creature is our friend and secret is when we hit it it will be chase and it will be 😡 angry and fight with us its very funny🥴

Bell beast

Oh! Bellbeast might be a boss you can see it in the image. Sorry, but the main point is Battle 1. This could be its first stage or phase. After the fight, it might leave and then come back with new powers. I also think it might give you a bell ability to unlock some gates

Trobbio

Basically, Trobbio is usually a mountain in Italy, but in this scene, it means something else. It seems like it represents an enemy, and there’s a chance this foe can control air or has something to do with mountains.

Airsphere may its name but its ability is moss (Mosses are small, non-vascular flowerless plants in the taxonomic) and its very simple basic she is mother of moss and she have moss power

Coral Gorge Fishies

Ah, got it. So, in the three scenes where we discussed “Coral Gorge Fishies,” it seems evident that the Coral King is likely the boss residing in the Coral Gorge Fishies area. This connection suggests a thematic tie between the boss and the specified location

lace flower field that simple this is field of lace flower may she is queen of lace flower just like moss mother oh i forget one thing “lace flower field1” this may its first phase(stage) and if you notice she’s dress color is like lace flower so may be she is queen of lace flower

Observing the background, it appears that there are numerous dummy hunters (hunters of the bridge) or, alternatively, another hunter present. This particular hunter is speculated to possess the ability of the Camellia flower, akin to the capabilities demonstrated by the Lace Flower Queen

Indeed, a golem is a creature made of clay or other materials, animated through magical means. This construct is often depicted in mythology and folklore as a being created by a skilled craftsman or a mystical figure, brought to life for various purposes, typically to serve or protect

Your interpretation adds an intriguing layer to the concept. It suggests that the song or encounter with the golem serves as a pivotal moment in the game, and upon defeating it, players might receive a talisman or a protective power as a reward. This dynamic could enhance the gameplay and narrative by tying significant achievements to tangible in-game benefits

that’s interesting bone gate i think if you know we discuss about bell beast i think this is path of bell beast or one more thing possible sherma may be something like bell ( produce sound) and gate is open this is very interesting

If we look at background this area may be under coral king and he ( who is keeper in this scene ) church keeper that’s simple i think he is keeper but of church may church keeper this profession

If we break down the phrase “bind mid-air,” it seems to imply a capability related to mid-air activities, perhaps suggesting an ability to manipulate the air, such as creating a burst of wind to impact the surrounding area

Baby hermit crab

It seems like there might be a bit of a mix-up in your text, but if I understand correctly, you’re referring to a scenario where a “baby” hermit crab requests assistance in finding its parents. This concept holds promise, as in nature, baby animals typically stay close to their parents. It could add an interesting quest or narrative element to the game, creating a mission to reunite the baby hermit crab with its family

It sounds like Bellhart might be a location nestled inside a bell, possibly a kingdom inhabited by bell beasts. The notion of it being the village for these creatures becomes intriguing, especially with the backdrop showcasing a large bell. The visual of a bell village adds a unique and captivating element to the game’s world

Skull kingdom

Now, let’s talk about this Moss Druid Cauldron it’s not your run-of-the-mill cauldron. No, sir! This thing could be the VIP lounge of high-rank spells or maybe even a bit of black magic in the Skull Kingdom. It’s like the mystical epicenter where enchantments get their groove on.

Ah, the Forge Daughter — she’s like the master builder behind all the upgrades in Silksong. We’re not sure if she really someone daughter or just one of the best cogworkers around.

A bug is an insect and if we add bitter we get Bitterbug, So let’s break it down. I think bitter means feeling angry or sad because you can’t forget something bad that happened. And bug is just an insect. So, it’s clear he’s a bug with some sadness, maybe holding on to past pain he can’t let go of.

Deadly New Tools the tools shown in this image might be called Bard Bounce Bay. If you follow Silksong footage closely, you’ll notice it in some scenes it works like a bouncing nickel, letting you bounce in mid-air. Now, let’s move to the next!

This is just the inventory screen, but there are way more tools here than in Hollow Knight maybe that’s one reason Silksong is delayed. (Okay, now turn on your Sherlock skills!) If you look closely at the dark blurry background, you can see Hornet sitting on a rest bench. I think we’ll only be able to change or equip tools when Hornet is sitting on a bench.

Oh yeah, I know! If you look at the previous picture in the tool equip screen, you’ll see a tool called Pimpillo. It’s basically a bomb it explodes just like one

Another pic of song city

one thing is different there is an small bomb “Pimpillo” fairies

Might be there are two types of ants one is the Lifeblood ant, and the other is the syringe (injection) ant. This might be a hidden clue about the enemy.

Well, well here’s another hidden clue about a weapon’s location. The simple buzzsaw normally used to cut wood and other materials looks like a weapon here Its location seems to be in Song City. In fact, in this image, the buzzsaw is shown as a ranged weapon. This game might end up being the best ever totally mind-blowing 🤯 just imagine Of course, this is only a prediction, so we’ll have to wait and see what’s actually in the game.

A new legend Gloombeast. Hmm… I think this is another big challenge from Team Cherry. Silksong is already full of tough fights, and gloombeast seems like one of the hardest yet. The word gloom means darkness or sadness maybe he’s depressed, kind of like the bitterbug. Since the image says New Legend maybe he’s some kind of legend of darkness. Sounds intense!

This very simple there is an secret blow down this peak side but but there is another hidden clue if focus on image there an little fairy Lily as a clue in the image. Follow her mischievous trail, and you might just stumble upon an incredible secret area or a coveted item

Woah, Bell Shrine! Now I’m 100% sure about my Bellbeast prediction. This shrine looks like it’s part of a bell-themed environment, and one thing really stands out it reminds me of Hollow Knight. If you remember, when you hit a bell in Hollow Knight, a big insect would appear quickly (sorry, it’s been a while since I played, so I forgot the name!).

This Bell Shrine definitely has a similar vibe to something from Hollow Knight.
